Four years ago I saw a friend of mines daughter wearing a gorgeous prom dress to church on the Sunday morning after Prom. (A tradition our congregation has had for many years which also makes it fun for the girls to wear their dresses again) I noticed that the dress she was wearing was not only beautiful but MODEST as well. (Which is hard, if not impossible to find these days?) I asked where she had gotten the dress. She went on to tell me that they had bought the dress sleeveless and then had taken it to Sew What to have sleeves put on. WOW!! I was amazed! I would never have guessed that the dress had been altered in such a way. It was flawless and looked as if the dress was originally made that way. As a mother of two daughters I want my girls to look beautiful without having to show off their bodies. From my daughters first dance as a sophomore to now preparing for winter formal of her senior year we have taken every dress to Diana to be altered for modesty. Every single dress has turned out absolutely gorgeous! My oldest daughter has received many, many complements on all her dresses and has girls call her to ask if they can borrow them! Shopping for dance dresses isn't frustrating anymore because I know Diana can fix it and make it just how we want it.
Thanks Sew What!!!

I went to Sew What!?! with a basic idea of what I wanted for my wedding dress, which needed to be very different from most because I was getting married on a glacier. The employees there were all wonderful. Diana designed a perfect dress for my wedding that was gorgeous and practical, and a lot of fun! They custom made the outfit that was designed for me. The quality was excellant, and it came out exactly like we had discussed. The service from all of the employees was fantastic, and I had a great time with them. My wedding dress was absolutely perfect, and my experience was fun and totally stress free.
I live in Aurora, IL and married the love of my life October 2007. We had an autumn themed wedding and I was set against wearing white. I wanted something affordable and original. My Aunt Diana came to my rescue. I was able to email her my measurements, my 4 bridesmaids measurements, and my flower girl measurements. She sent me swatches and designs and also made our jewelry. It is now a year later and people are STILL commenting on how beautiful our dresses were. There were butterflies beaded on my train. My dress and the bridesmaid dresses were laced down the back. They were breathtaking dresses and I still enjoy looking at the pictures because of the wonderful work my Aunt Diana did for us. Even with us across the country.

I would like to thank AZ Bridal and Sew What for all you did to help with my daughters wedding….. We ended up coming back to Sew What for fittings and picking out a slip at AZ Bridal and everything was just taken care of so well Diana Moreci was wonderful to work with the fittings on the wedding dress. The dresses both looked wonderful. The price was very reasonable too. So I want you to all know how happy we felt working with you and how you made it so stress free. My daughter has kept a folder on everything for the wedding to share with all her friends when it comes to their time to get married. I know she will only have the best remarks to say about both of your businesses.
Thanks again,
Tina Norgren
P.S. That was the first of our four kids to be married. I know I will be back.

Thank you so much! The sleeves that you sewed for my dress were perfect; nobody could believe it came without them. In addition, the beading and embroidery work that you did on them was amazing! I received so many compliments on it. In fact, I can't remember one person that didn't tell me how gorgeous my dress was. I am so glad that I had you do the alterations. I was so worried when my first seamstress told me it was impossible to get my dress finished in the timeframe that I had. Then I went to you and even though I was short on time you still got it done, cleaned and steamed for me. I also wanted to thank you for the bustle you added to my dress, it stayed in place all night at the reception. The dress turned out so beautifully that even now, two months after my wedding I still have it hanging up in my room so that I can always see it. Thank you so much for the fantastic job that you did, and for being so sweet and easy to work with.

To all at Sew What
You saved my wedding day!!!!!!!!!!! Three weeks to my wedding my seamstress (who will stay nameless) ruined my dress. This resulted in the search for a new dress, shoes, veil and headpiece. Let's just say I panicked!!!!!!!!!!!! Like every bride the dress means the world to you. I wanted to look like a princess and I didn't think that would happen anymore. I went on a massive search to get everything back in order. I happened upon a bridal store called Arizona Bridal Warehouse, great place, wonderful people. I didn't leave until I found my dress. Let's just say second times a charm! It was perfect, only needing minor adjustments. I was referred to "Sew What" and reassured that you were the best of the best since I was a little hesitant due to my prior experience somewhere else. You changed my sash with such ease and it was gorgeous! Then I came to you in need of material to match new shoes, "not a problem" I was told. You also gave us some beads from the dress so we could match them to a veil. It all helped so much and it was coming together. You altered the veil which was a perfect match to the dress thanks to your help with the beads. Shoes are ordered and matched perfect due the fabric you gave us. We are rounding home plate now. The nervous bride I became made me loose weight and on that final fitting a week before the wedding, to my surprise I dropped about 3 inches and the dress had to be altered yet again. I was so nervous this is where it all went wrong with dress #1. Final dress fitting #2, slipped it on with the shoes and veil, walked out and looked in the mirror, Oh my God I was a princess!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The dress was perfect and better than I could have every imagined. The whole drama of dress #1 melted away, this was truly meant to be my dress!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved it! Thank you, thank you, thank you. You saved my wedding day!!!!!!!!!!!!

Diana is amazing! She altered my wedding dress to fit me absolutely perfect! Anything I wanted to add or change on my dress, she could do it! Her work is very precise and she always gets it done in a timely manner. My wedding dress was very important to me and I wanted it to be perfect, and sure enough Diana altered it to fit me exactly right. I honestly believe she is the most talented seamstress around! You'll never go wrong with Diana and her amazing talent of sewing!"
I needed four bridesmaid dresses altered for my wedding. Knowing that my wedding is very important to me Diana changed the look of the dresses just how I wanted, and all four of my bridesmaids were in AWW of the way they turned out. I needed sleeves added to all of them, so Diana used the shawl to attach beautiful sleeves to them. She also did some intricate beading on the front and sleeves of the dresses which turned out beautiful. All four bridesmaids kept commenting on how perfect the sleeves fit them, and how gorgeous they made the dress look. I will never go to another alterations company because I know Diana can do it all! She's great!"
